Feng Shui of PinkThe right Feng Shui color use can bring a strong shift of energy into your environment. Pink color is the universal color of Love, which makes it a perfect feng shui color to soothe the energy. Its gentle and delicate feng shui vibrations have a proven soothing effect on one's behavior. You could almost say that, as a feng shui color, Pink literally soothes the heart and fills it with love!

The widest use of Pink color in feng shui is in the Southwest area of one's space, as it is connected to Love & Marriage. Feng Shui your bedroomBelow are ten tips to create a sexy bedroom, Feng-Shui style.Feng-Shui Tip #1 The bedroom is a place for relaxation and love, so be sure to choose warm, feminine colors in the decorating scheme for your bedroom, such as burgundy, red, purple and pink. As a plus, warm colors are thought to have a soothing effect.

Feng-Shui Tip #2 Keep the air fresh in the room by opening the windows often or utilizing an air-purifier. You can't have good Feng Shui if your air is stale!

Feng-Shui Tip #3 When it comes to positioning your bed, make sure that it is in full view of the door to your bedroom, but not directly in line with it. Sleeping with your feet facing towards a door is known as the 'coffin position' and invites bad energy (Chi.)

Feng-Shui Tip #4 Remove any photos of your family and friends from your bedroom or at least keep them out of view from your bed.

Feng Shui in bedroom ''also applies to colour''

August 15, 2009 |11:55 | Bedroom feng shui | Feng shui colors | Feng shui love  By : Team X

Feng Shui in bedroom ''also applies to colour''When getting to grips with a bedroom''s decor, people ought to take the ancient art of feng shui into account if they''re to get the most out of their surroundings, it has been said.

That''s the opinion of Nina Yun anyway, who said for CTW Features that such a practice can really give people an added level of energy to the likes of the bedroom, most notably the bed itself.

The one thing people should prioritise over everything else is the use of colour, she explained, highlighting how strong or bold colours really need to be avoided.

Ms Yun continued: "Most people want romance in the bedroom and red is the associated colour, but don''t paint your bedroom walls red.

It''s overkill. Most people can''t sleep." This is because a bedroom needs to feel relaxing and calming, though the use of colours through accents in rugs, bed linen and pillows is acceptable, she suggested.

For a well-earned rest

A: The main master bedroom should be in the southwest of the flat. Use the northwestern room for your guests and give the northeast bedroom to your son. The beds should be placed against the southern or eastern walls. Build the cupboards towards the west wall.

The bed should not be pushed against a wall in the corner of the room. Energy should be smoothly flowing around three sides of the bed for a good night’s nourishing sleep.

Do not have split ceilings above the beds. Place the study table in the northeast of the child’s bedroom. Avoid having dressing table in the bedrooms.

If at all you still want to have them then ensure that they are on the northern or eastern walls and are not reflecting the bed while sleeping.

Feng Shui Your Bedroom

July 25, 2009 |11:08 | Bedroom feng shui  By : Team X

Feng Shui Your BedroomThe bedroom is the room of your house where you calm down, relax and sleep after a hard working day, a refuge from the outside turbulent world. This is the place where you recharge with the vital energy Chi.

The most important is to keep your bedroom clear of clutter and tidy, because this reduces the flow of energy. Clutter leads to stagnant and chaotic energy. Therefore, you should remove all the old, unnecessary stuff in this room and then go on with following the Feng Shui steps.

The first rule when speaking about locating and decorating your bedroom in Feng Shui terms is that you should not place this resting room closely to the front door, but as far away from it as possible.

Avoid positioning your bed on the line between the door of the room and windows because this is the main way for Chi to travel. If your bed will be placed somewhere in-between these, it will stop the flow of the flux of energy.

Feng Shui Your Bedroom

Feng Shui Your BedroomIs your bedroom a peaceful haven you retreat to for rest and romance, and emerge from feeling refreshed and renewed? If not, a little feng shui may be just the thing your room needs.
Feng shui — which literally translates to "wind and water" — is the ancient Chinese art of placement. The goal is to enhance the flow of chi (life force or spiritual energy), and to create harmonious environments that support health, beckon wealth and invite happiness. At its most basic level, feng shui (pronounced fung shway) is a decorating discipline based on the belief that our surroundings affect us. In the bedroom, "Feng shui helps you arrange the space to support your best rest and connection with your partner and with yourself," says Los Angeles feng shui consultant Jayme Barrett, author of Feng Shui Your Life. Whether you buy into feng shui's philosophies or not, many of its principles simply make good design sense. Here are nine simple feng shui strategies that will turn your chaotic and uninspiring bedroom into the serene and sensual sanctuary of your dreams.
